Arlene K. Talaue is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting (1989) in the University of Santo Tomas. She was the Secretary of the Catechetical Section of Commerce Pax Romana (AY 1987 – 1988) and Chairman of the Catechetical Section (AY 1988 – 1989).
She was employed in the following companies after passing the CPA Licensure Examination in 1991, holding various positions: PLDT, RGP Auditing Firm, Burlington Airfreight Services Inc., Salesian Society of St. John Bosco, Salesiana Publishers Inc. and Delegate of the Servants of the Paraclete Inc. While being employed in the Delegate of the Servants of the Paraclete, she started her own company as an independent practitioner. Currently, she provides her professional services to various clients in various industries.
Aside from her professional engagements, she is also an active member of the Association of Salesian Cooperators (ASC), a member of the Salesian Family of Don Bosco since 2006. She was elected as the Provincial Coodinator of the ASC Philippines North from 2014 to 2017, wherein she managed 13 Centers. In 2017, she headed the delegation to Japan to attend the East Asia Oceania Congress. Currently, she is the Councilor for Fomation of ASC Makati Center wherein she oversees the Formation Program of its members as well as the ASC Migrants’ Youth Formation of Don Bosco Makati. In line with the call of Pope Francis on Laudato Si and also promoted by ASC, to date she has spearheaded tree planting activities in Rizal, Albay and Catanduanes.
