Jephte Olimpo Muñez
As a scholar, he completed the course work for the Doctor of Public Administration (University of the Philippines) and currently pursuing his dissertation, finished his MS in Finance from the University of the Philippines in 2010, MBA from the University of Santo Tomas in 2006 and a graduate of BS Commerce Major in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas in 1990.
For two academic year, he served as the President of the UST Pax Romana Central Coordinating Council (AY 1988-1990). By profession, he is a Certified Public Accountant (1992), Real Estate Appraiser (2011), Real Estate Broker (2012), and Recognized Valuation Consultant (2022). In the sphere of Public Administration and Governance, he is an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Makati (since 2020), University of the Philippines – National College of Public Administration and Governance (2020, 2022-Present), and was a Technical Consultant of the Philippines’ Commission on Higher Education – Unified Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) from June 2016 to June 2019.
As a researcher, he presented his papers on public administration, governance, accountancy, finance, and taxation in several countries (USA, Hungary, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, Russia, Israel, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, and Hong Kong) and across the Philippines (Manila, Vigan, Cebu, Tacloban and General Santos). He had research articles published in international journals about state auditing, budgetary appropriations, and citizens’ participatory internal audit. He was an Assistant Editor of the Accountancy and Business Journal of San Beda University (2013 to 2017).
