Dr. Ferdinand Martinez is a  graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Business Management (1986) in the University of Santo Tomas. He earned his Masteral and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management from the University of Batangas (2020).   He is also a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, St. Dominic Savio College (2006).  He also satisfactory completed all the requirements as well as competency indicators pertaining to a Certified Public Speaker.

During his college years, he was elected as President of UST Commerce Pax Romana in 1985-1986 and at the same time chosen as  the Chairman of Commission on Election of UST.

He started his career in China Banking Corporation as a rank and file employee and became a Branch Cashier.  He transferred to Philam Bank as a Senior Manager and now he is connected with Bangko Kabayan (a Private Development Bank), subsidiary of Union Bank, as an Assistant Vice President/Area Head of Bangko Kabayan.  He is responsible for the business development of the assigned area for the attainment of profitability targets through the delivery of budgeted fund and loan volume and efficient use of resources.  While in Bangko Kabayan, he was a recipient of the President’ Award for 2 consecutive years (2011 and 2012).

While in the banking industry he also managed and served as President of EcoTravel and Tour.  Few years of operation in travel agency, he managed to open and served as President of EcoFreight Forwarding Inc.  Both business is located in Batangas City.
